I opted for a charming Bungalow in the garden, a true hidden gem that provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring.The hotel's proximity to the picturesque coast of the 'IJsselmeer' lake, just 3 kilometers away, offers stunning views of the Frysian meadows, perfect for leisurely walks or bike rides. Renting an e-bike from the hotel allowed me to immerse myself fully in the breathtaking countryside, unveiling hidden treasures along the way. I was awestruck by the beauty of the area, enhanced by the perfect weather that graced our weekend.Dining at the on-site restaurant was a highlight of our stay. The a la carte menu showcased delectable dishes, and the outdoor garden setting added to the enchanting ambiance. The lamb cutlets were a culinary masterpiece, tender and flavorful, while the haddock delighted my companions. We ended the meal with a heavenly mango sorbet and ice cream, the perfect conclusion to a memorable evening.Hotel Jans truly captivates with its attention to detail and homely atmosphere.
